2020 Tryout Schedule

Please find the 2020-2021 tryout schedule below for reference.  Team colours will be assigned in the next 2 weeks.

Please look for a Return to Play document to be uploaded from Hockey Calgary and Elite Council this week to understand what parameters will need to be met for this tryout season.  All regular tryout policies that the CRAA has posted in our Policy and Procedure manual will be superseded by the RTP document as presented to the quadrants due to COVID-19, and therefore much of the standard tryout procedure for CRAA will not be met for this season.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Players are to arrive at the arena dressed – helmets and skates can by put on in the stands
• Masks must be worn upon arrival and upon leaving – social distancing must be maintained while dressing
• Screening health questions will be asked and a temperature check may be done upon entering the arena
• Goaltenders will have designated areas to finish dressing
• There will be no access to showers
• Each player must bring their own labelled water bottle
• Players should not arrive earlier than 20 min before their designated ice slot
• Players need to leave the arena immediately following the tryout ice time
• NO PARENT SPECTATORS (for the initial tryouts) – We need to have enough leeway in allowable numbers due to COVID-19 for our coaches, evaluators, and mentors to properly assess each child.  As well, we need to take safety into consideration for those players who are on the next icetimes.
