As part of a recent strategic review, the Calgary Royals Board of Directors has made the decision that all contracted positions will now move to a Request for Proposal (RFP) process. This step is being taken to ensure transparency and alignment with our long-term organizational goals.

We want to emphasize that this is not a reflection of the quality of work from any of our current providers, but rather a standardization of how we approach our operations moving forward. Current providers will also participate in the upcoming RFP process, and we will be sharing details with everyone as enquiries are submitted.

Calgary Royals – Request for Proposals (RFPs)
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, April 30, 2025 – 5:00 PM MST
Start Date: 2025–2026 Season

The Calgary Royals Hockey Club is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or organizations for the following contracted positions:

Available Positions:

Skill Development Coaches
Focused on enhancing player skill acquisition and individual on-ice development.

Power Skating Coaches
Specializing in edge control, balance, acceleration, and stride efficiency.

Dryland & Off-Ice Training Providers
Delivering age-appropriate athletic conditioning, injury prevention, and team-building.

Athletic Therapists
Certified professional responsible for injury management, prevention strategies, and recovery programming.

Manager of Goalie Development
Leading the goaltending program across all age groups; responsible for planning, evaluation, and mentorship.

Please include the following in your submission:
– Cover Letter – Outline your interest and philosophy.
– Resume or Organizational Profile – Relevant qualifications, certifications, and experience.
– Scope of Services – Detail your approach, delivery model, and availability.
– Fee Structure – Hourly or per-session rates.
– References – Minimum two (2) references from previous clients or organizations.
– Proof of Insurance and applicable certifications (e.g., Hockey Canada, First Aid, AT Certification, etc.).
