Registration for the 2020-2021 Season

PLEASE NOTE: Currently the registration for the upcoming 2020-2021 season is delayed due to the COVID-19 situation.  It is the understanding of the CRAA that we will be able to open up tryout registration by July 1, 2020.  Please check back for any updates.

2020 - 2021 Team Registration Fees

2020/2021 Fees*:

U15 AA: $4450

U15 AAA: $6250

U16 AA: $5500

U16 AAA: $5500

U18 AA: $5950

U18 AAA: $9250

U21 B: $1500

*Please note that these fees include socks, hockey pants and one set of dry land gear (no names or numbers) only.  Fees do not reflect additional costs for required helmets, gloves, jackets or apparel purchased separately through an approved supplier.  New players can obtain helmet, gloves and hockey bags through Play it Again Sports in Westhills. Apparel links for RM Apparel are provided once teams are created.

CRAA fees also include what would have been previously been referred to as a "cash call".  The amount posted is an "all in" fee to cover programming and tournaments should we be allowed to participate in any this season.

Team fees are to be paid through TeamSnap once links are established.  Those players who are successful at making on of our teams will be sent a link after the first parent meeting.  You may choose to pay the entire fee up front, by the installment plan as set forth below, or you may choose to e-transfer funds (please ask for this information).

Any family that needs a custom payment plan needs to contact the administrator before Sept 30th to make these arrangements.  Please see information below regarding financial assistance.

Anyone that has Bingo or Casino credit must choose the installment plan as these credits will not get applied until the end of October.

Due before Oct 31, 2020 - 16.66% of total

Installment Plan (U21 B)

Due by Oct 31, 2020 - $500

Due on or before Nov 30, 2020 - $500

Financial Assistance Information

Flames Even Strength Program (FESP)

The Calgary Royals will match the financial assistance given by the Flames Even Strength program.

Hockey Calgary, KidSport, the Flames Foundation & Canadian Pacific support the Flames Even Strength Program (FESP).  This initiative helps to alleviate the cost of playing hockey for children in our community facing financial barriers to participating in organized sports.  Since 1998, the program has distributed over $2,000,000 in support of local minor hockey players so they can play the game they love.

Calgary Royals Athletic Association Assistance Program

The Calgary Royals Athletic Association will match the funding $ granted from the Flames Even Strength Program  up to the maximum of a player's team registration fee and each situation will be assessed and handled privately with the family.
