Calgary Royals Board of Directors Update on Presidency – January 2024

Please be advised that Dale Peters has resigned as President of the Calgary Royals
Athletic Association.
We thank Dale for his years of service – Dale started with the association
approximately 15 years ago as a team manager, before moving to Team Director of
the Junior B program and then onto the Executive with the last 3 years in the role of
President. His contributions to the association are many including being
Instrumental in keeping the New Arena on track. We respect his decision to resign
from the association and wish him well moving forward.
With his departure the following changes to the executive officers, roles and
responsibilities has been approved by the Board of Directors.
Interim President – Juanita Renwick
VP – Off Ice – remains as Kris Zack
Treasurer – remains as Brian Hernandez
Secretary – remains as Diana Hartford
VP Hockey Operations – the position will operate as a committee of the 4 executive
officers.
The smooth running and execution of the programs within the association are of
foremost importance.
